On February 11, 2025, the European Union delegation to Armenia, led by Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, visited the headquarters of Farm Credit Armenia.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the organization's history, main areas of activity, as well as ongoing programs and initiatives. The prospects and opportunities for cooperation were discussed.
It is especially important to note that in November 2024, the European Investment Bank and Farm Credit Armenia signed a loan agreement for 2.5 million euros aimed at promoting the growth of businesses owned by farmers, youth, and women in rural areas. This agreement marks the beginning of an important collaboration, within the framework of which significant contributions to Armenia's agriculture and socio-economic development are expected.
We are confident that this meeting will further boost the already successful partnership.
