We are proud to announce that Farm Credit Armenia UCO Cc has joined the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), on December 24, 2025.

The WEPs is a global initiative developed by the United Nations Global Compact and UN Women, aimed at promoting gender equality and empowering women in the workplace, marketplace, and community. Through this step, we join a global community of organizations committed to building a more inclusive and equitable society.

WEPs include 7 important principles. By joining these Principles, we reaffirm our commitment to: 

1. Establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality.

2. Treat all women and men fairly at work – respect and support human rights and nondiscrimination.

3. Ensure the health, safety and well-being of all women and men workers.

4. Promote education, training and professional development for women.

5. Implement enterprise development, supply chain and marketing practices that empower women.

6. Promote equality through community initiatives and advocacy.

7. Measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality. At Farm Credit Armenia, we believe that a strong economy starts with equal opportunities. Women’s participation in business and agriculture not only drives innovation but also fosters sustainable, long-term development.
