The United States Department of Agriculture is Pleased to Announce Cochran Fellowship Program Training for 2013

The USDA Cochran Fellowship Program provides short-term U.S. training to qualified candidates.  The purpose of the training is to demonstrate the benefits of advanced technologies in agriculture, and to give participants information about the U.S. regulatory system and how that system safeguards agriculture, food, and the environment. 
Priority Training Areas for 2013:

1. Greenhouse Management
2. Horticulture & Post harvest Management

Eligibility

• Armenian citizens in the mid-level stages of their professional careers
• Currently involved in the private  Agribusiness Food Sector or employed at research institution, university or government

Fellowship award:  All travel and training expenses are covered by Cochran Fellowship Program

Application deadline:  August 17, 2012

All interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to fill in the last updated version of the Cochran Application Form (only in English) attached to this announcement.  Please have your recent photo, copy of your diploma and pages 1-2 of your passport attached to the application.
